MATERIAL:
 
Made from full grain Chromexcel from Horween USA. It is the classic “pull-up” leather which means when folded and creased, the waxes and oils that were hot stuffed into the leather move creating a rich tonal effect.
The leather is produced using a century-old bark retannage recipe and is known to be very durable.
It will pick up marks and scuffs according to your usage patterns, making it uniquely yours.
Type Z is made from one single piece of Chromexcel. Thats it!

It really is only a piece of leather.

FORM:
 
The zero-stich, self-lock design helps the leather to wrap around the wallet without needing any margins for stitching and thereby reducing it's footprint to the absolute minimum. 
Tugging and pulling will not loosen the grip. Unless you tear it ofcourse.
The wallet can be opened only if you want to from the inside.
The wallet takes shape only when it is loaded with atleast 2 cards.
The cash slot has the top grain on the inside eliminating the need for any lining material.
The folded and stitched edges produce the rolled effect.
Edges are hand burnished with beeswax to lock in the fibres and prevent fraying.
 
FUNCTION:
 
A quick access thumb cut out to take your cards out.
The cash slot holds most International currencies folded thrice. 
The lock mechanism behind the wallet will also act as a storage slot for small reciepts, parking tickets etc. 
It can also carry a space pen in the loop formed by the lock arm if you stretch it.
Despite being an ultra minimalist wallet - this can hold upto 5 cards and 4 to 5 bills,  parking receipts and a fisher spacepen.
 
MATERIAL CARE:
 
As with any luxury leather, avoid storing this in wet and humid conditions
If the wallet gets wet, press gently with some cloth that will absorb the moisture and then leave it to air out naturally away from direct sunlight until it is dry
TWC all natural Leather balm application recommended but not neccessary. 
The shade will darken over time and you will have a beautiful patina that will be unique to your usage.
